If
you're going to put "pocket" in the name of a
gadget, you expect it to be pocket friendly.
This is the case with the Intel Pocket Concert Audio Player.
Since its corners are rounded it doesn't catch when it slides
in and out of your pocket.
Perhaps this is not a major feature, but it shows the designers
gave the device some thought.
The audio player, which has 128 MB of onboard memory, stores
up to two hours of audio in MP3 or WMA formats. It also
has an FM radio for when you get bored with your own selections.
The other nifty feature of this device is you can bookmark
a place in a tune so you can return later without have to
listen to it from the beginning.
In testing, the player had enough storage space to fit 36
songs. However, if you want more you're out of luck. There
is no expansion slot to add a memory card to this device.
To transfer music to it, you'll need a Windows computer
with a USB port. This port is common on most computers built
in the last three years. It doesn't work with a Mac.
