GE Cordless Bedroom Phone
Clock
radios need phones. That's so you can call the radio station in
a hurry to win win win! That's why the 900 MHz Cordless BedroomPhone
(model 26980GE1) is kind of cool.
It features a cordless phone built into a clock radio. The cordlessness
is good because it stops you from accidently strangling your bed
partner with the phone cord. The device doubles as a bedside clock
radio with two alarms.
The device even has a night light to make spouses who go grunt
in the dark less scary. The phone has a 10 number memory, an out
of range warning and all the bells and whistles you come to expect
in most cordless phones.
If you've subscribed to the service through the phone company,
it also supports Caller ID. The clock has a green luminescent
digital that is hard to see at the far side of the bed but is
pretty easy to read close up. The alarms are finicky to set thanks
to a multi-button pressing programming routine, but they can be
set to two different times and radio or alarm mode.
The alarm sound is just grating enough to get out of bed and shut
it off and not quite annoying enough to chuck shoes at it. A 9V
battery keeps the time on track when the power goes out. The BedroomPhone,
comes in any color you want as long as its white.
