Drag your My Computer icon to the side of your desktop. It turns into a tool bar with your floppy disk, your hard drives, your CD-ROM drivers, and whatever peripherals you have.
To make it cleaner and prettier, you can right-click on it, and uncheck Show Text and Show Title. You can even make it disappear when you don't have your mouse cursor near it by clicking Auto Hide.
This also works with Network Neighborhood and any other folder on your computer. You can also drag it to any side of your Desktop.
